We mentored a record 20 student playwrights in 2023!
The process started with playwright and dramaturg A.P. Andrews Zooming into the drama class during the spring semester. In McCall, mentors met with student playwrights during their final drama class of the year to discuss their work in depth. The process culminated with an open Masterclass led by incoming Artistic Director Adrian Centeno. Selected student works were read and rehearsed with professional directors and a company of student and professional actors, while Centeno facilitated a discussion with the rest of the class throughout the process. |
