McCall-Donnelly High School
Student Playwrights Program

Seven Devils has developed the new work by nearly 90 McCall-Donnelly High School playwrights since 2001. Students write short play in the spring semester as part of their high school drama program. Seven Devils takes the students' work to the next level, bringing student playwrights into the rehearsal and re-writing process with the support of one-to-one mentors and directors from the professional company. Actors from the professional company, the high school and the local community come together to bring the students' work to life in a free public staged reading.

Helping Hands Scholarship Fund

Established in 2007, the Jyothi Jorgensen Scholarship Helping Hands Scholarship Fund, is awarded each year to a McCall-Donnelly senior planning to study the arts in college. Donations for the scholarship are collected at the student play readings. In recent years, Seven Devils has secured matching opportunity from local supporters, including the Kit Worthington Gig Foundation. Seven Devils has raised over $15,000 in support of this important local scholarship opportunity.
