2021 SEVEN DEVILS PLAYWRIGHTS CONFERENCE - JUNE 7 - 19

The 2021 Conference will feature the development and online presentation of  work of four playwrights, selected from 650 open submissions, a free online playwriting workshop led by 2021 featured playwright Tira Palmquist, PLUS two live and in person workshops in McCall, Idaho led by the founders of Boise's Campfire Theatre Festival. Company artists will also serve as mentors for students in the McCall Donnelly High School drama class.

Join the Campfire Crew as we break bread. We would love the chance to get to know you and give you a taste of what we do in Boise.

Let's Make Some Theatre! 
The Campfire Theatre Festival team will guide you through creating a mini play made by and about the community. This workshop is for collaborating and celebrating coming together! ​

FILLING THE FRAME
Even the smallest detail can lead to a compelling story. Using candid photography as a creative jump-start, Tira Palmquist will lead us through an exercise, paying keen attention to the surprising or funny details in photographs, and using those observations to build a character, a life, a story.
